HISTORY
DESARROLLOS METÁLICOS, S.A. de C.V.
is a manufacturing company of office furniture that was founded on
1985 in San Pedro Sula, Honduras under the technology of J.G.
Group Buro of Barcelona, Spain, initiating an era of innovative
designs. Our slogan:
Tomorrow's furniture Today! portrays the philosophy and
the fundamental task of the executives and employees who, under the
strictest norms of the European Technology, create functional styles
and provide modern image and comfort to the companies that acquire
our products. The innovative designs we produce puts us in the
vanguard of the office furniture line.
Our products have incorporated
materials of the highest European quality that, through a highly
qualified workforce, allows us to offer a product that responds to
the most strict standards of quality. As main component, sheets of
smooth electrozincked steel is used protected with texturized
acrylic painting that avoids oxidation. The boards of the desks,
conformed of an agglomerate covered with melamine, guarantee their
duration for life.
Our labor force this constituted by
40 employees who, each one in its area, carries out workings of
production, inspection and administration fulfilling processes and
standards that are translated into an excellent product and service
to our clients according to a dynamic and competitive market. Our
offices and plant are located within an area of 4.800 square meters
in the highway that leads to the airport of San Pedro Sula, the
fastest growing city in Central America.
We stay within the new designs that
the market demands and at the present time we offer a diversity of
product lines that comply to the necessities of those who
distinguish us with their preference. We cover great part of the
demand for office furniture in our country providing comfort and
elegance to the private industries and governmental entities of
Honduras.
Our experience and
dedication have made us reach the markets of Mexico, Belize,
Guatemala, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, the Caribbean, and
Panama for more than 25 years, making us the main exporter of office
furniture in Central America. |
